Karnaugh Map Solver is built so you can use the main Boolean logic tools without an account or handing over personal details. That's a deliberate choice, not just a footnote. This page explains what happens with information when you visit www.karnaughmap-solver.com.
Information We Collect
Normal use of Karnaugh Map Solver doesn't require registration.
You can run the K-Map, truth table, Boolean expression input, minterms, maxterms, and SOP/POS simplification, plus the circuit diagram view, without ever typing your name or setting up a profile.
That said, like almost any website, some technical details get processed automatically in the background — things like your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you request, a rough location, and basic diagnostic data. This is mostly there to keep the site running properly, catch abuse, and track down technical problems when something breaks.
Information You Enter
The solver works with Boolean logic data, things like:
- K-Map cell values
- truth-table outputs
- Boolean expressions
- minterms
- maxterms
- don't-care values
- variable settings
These values drive the calculation and keep the different solver views (K-Map, truth table, expression) in sync with each other.
We don't build a personal profile out of the Boolean problems you solve. Please avoid putting passwords, personal records, payment details, or anything else sensitive into the solver fields — they're meant for logic problems, not personal data.
Local Storage
Your theme preference may be stored in your browser's local storage. The language setting may be remembered in a browser cookie. Solver values are kept in memory while you use the page; the site does not create an account or a saved solver history.
These browser settings help keep the interface consistent. Clearing your browser's site data resets them.
Cookies and Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads on eligible pages. Google and other third-party vendors or ad networks participating through AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites.

The current site does not load a separate analytics tracker. Hosting infrastructure may provide request, performance, or diagnostic information to help keep the site working.
We do not use the Boolean functions you solve to build an analytics profile.
PDF Export
Karnaugh Map Solver lets you export a solution as a PDF. That file can include the K-Map, the highlighted groupings, the simplified expression, the solution steps, and the circuit diagram generated from what you entered.
Exporting a PDF for normal use doesn't require an account. Worth checking the file over before you send it to someone else.
Third-Party Services
The site relies on outside providers for hosting and, on eligible pages, Google AdSense. Hosting infrastructure may also handle security and content delivery.
Those providers handle whatever technical information their service needs to function. Once a third party is processing something independently, its own privacy policy is what governs that.
Children's Privacy
Karnaugh Map Solver is meant for learning, but it was never designed to collect a real name, address, phone number, or similar personal details — the solver simply doesn't need any of that.
Please don't put personal information into the K-Map cells, truth table, expression field, or the minterm and maxterm inputs. If something personal ends up submitted by mistake, reach out and let us know.
